Lauren and Alana want to donate proceeds for their artwork to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, who give the girls hope that one day Lauren will be able to live without type 1 diabetes. Lauren can do anything she wants to do, but she thinks life would be a whole lot easier without doing 7 fingerpricks every day. Getting her hands all messy in paint was a much better activity for 8-year old fingers!
