Mia Perrie | Age 6

Mia is a 6 year old girl who has an unforgettable personality! The biggest smile and loves to give the biggest hugs. Mia has also been diagnosed with an extremely rare neurodevelopmental disorder called Angelman Syndrome which affects approx. 1 in 15,000. AS has devastating affects including global developmental delays, movement and balance problems, lack of speech, feeding and sleeping problems and a seizure disorder.

Recent scientific advances offer real hope for a treatment for Angelman Syndrome and give our kids a better quality of life. We as a community have made it a goal to raise as much awareness for Angelman Syndrome. We are holding a fundraiser event and all proceeds for Mia's artwork will be going to FAST Australia.
