Sebastien Merchant-Davies

At 8 months old Sebastien was found blue and unresponsive in his cot. Thankfully CPR was successful. After hospitilisation he was diagnosed with Severe Central Apnoea and given a 1 in four chance of surviving to his 2nd birthday. Even with 24 hour monitoring he required CPR on 3 further occasions but in June 2015 he was gven the all clear, Sebastien had outgrown his condition. Seb was incredibly lucky and survived the odds, but many don't which is why Sids For Kids is such a great and much needed charity. Seb is now your average rambunctious whirlwind of a 2 year old, getting him to sit still long enough to create his artwork was a Masterpiece in itself.
