About Artist:
I was diagnosed with gastric cancer in September 2017. I embarked on a 12 month journey of chemotherapy, an operation to remove my stomach and radiotherapy. After only a couple of months in remission we found out that the cancer had returned and it was terminal.
I saw the ad to participate in an adult workshop and thought it would be lots of fun and that the canvas would be something I could leave for my family!
